Sagar Segal joined Sopris Capital in 2022 and is an Associate. He has been focused on M&A, growth equity and investing since the start of his career.

Prior to joining Sopris, Mr. Segal was a Venture Associate at NYTCP where he focused on early-stage investing in B2B SaaS companies and operated as an interim CFO for several portfolio companies. Mr. Segal began his career in the Investment Banking Group at Houlihan Lokey and TD Securities, advising on mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions in the healthcare and O&G industries.

Outside of the office, Mr. Segal enjoys surfing, scuba-diving and traveling across various countries and continues to volunteer with IVHQ increasing educational access for women in rural areas of Asia.

Mr. Segal graduated with a B.B.A in Quantitative Finance and B.B.A. in Management from the business honors program at University of Texas at Austin.

Originally from Dallas, Mr. Segal now resides in Miami, FL.
